Beautiful gardens. I used to have about fifteen rose bushes and a garden full of mums, but they have long ago passed on. I do want to try roses again. Right now it's so hot to do anything. 105 degrees. I can't even get out to do my tree trimming and brush removing. Just can't burn my cuttings-burn ban big time. Roie, I have 12 roses bushes but have room for more...I do love my roses as well as mums I have some but they are not doing so well..Hope that the weather is cooler for you now we are suppose to get 90+ degree weather starting again in the middle of the week. It has been a pleasant high 70's mid 80's for about 2 weeks now. Where we live we can't burn at all we have to recycle, which is a good thing. Hope this finds you well and Happy. Thanks Taylor and they do seem to be snapping out of their shock, I am still babying two of them...they haven't bloomed yet getting buds but not opened yet. And yes I alos planted STRAWBERRIES now if the Damn birds will leave them alone I can share them with you I got one yesterday that they over looked and it sure was yummy. Next year they should be better producers. It take a couple of years or three to do real good. The baby is our youngest grandchild his name is Cody and he is a very very good boy. Chey, You have a lovely garden in both front and back. We have some wild flowers in the fromt with a fountain sitting in the middle of them. In the back we have a triving garden of vegtables and herbs galore. Perhaps someday I'll take some pics. or do a video. We are so proud since this was are first garden. Hi Crone hope you are having a great weekend and enjoying your gardens, I love fountains, I just have a bird bath for the birds to drink out of and some day hope to get a fountain. They are very soothing. I would love to see your pics of your garden, I bet they would be fabulous. It seems that my vegetable garden didn't fair so well this year. Got a few beans and peas, a handful of radishes...but our leaf lettuce is doing great. Potatoes and corn are as well, still waiting for the cucumbers to do something. Thank you Secret for thinking of me. I am waiting for the orthopedic to call and schedule an operation. I had a MRI and it shows a tear in my meniscus and my pcl...I tried to tell them all along that my knee still hurt and that it should be better by now but what do I know...especially after 3 months of PAIN...I am a big girl and shall take it in stride..so I am not going to complain. Ooooh! Sorry to hear that. My son had surgery 5 months ago as he tore his meniscus at the inner edge (avascular part) & had to have it cut out - & then it was pulled away from the inside completely & had to be tacked back on. I feel for you. You'll be in my thoughts & prayers.		\|< << >> >\|

Secret, Ouch for your son and for you I bet it was as hard on you as it was for him...as a parent we want to take the pain from them OH OUCH!!!!! Is he doing alright now? Is he doing P/T if so how long a recovery? I am still waiting for the Ortho to call me and let me know when I go in for surgery...is your son still having to take pain pills? I am sick of taking them. I am in the meantime looking at every website I can so that I am clear about what they might be doing to my knee...I am not getting any younger and still want to be able to walk somewhat after they are done. His surgery was 5 months ago. He actually only took a few of his pain pills. Being addictive, his dad & step mom didn't let him take but a couple before changing to Tylenol. He was with them during that time. He had a brace & had to keep in straight for several days & used crutches to get around but still went to school. He's doing good, but still has bouts of fluid/swelling here & there. He did a few times with basketball workouts this summer. Surgeon said it takes a minimum of 6-9 months to really start healing properly. The only way to know is to go back in there with a camera probe & we don't want to do that. Part of the fluid is probably from his body absorbing the stitches too. He did send a note to his coach of no squats past 90 degrees. They were making him go all the way down & it was hurting him. Nope! Not my kid! His knees are for life - basketball is a temp thing as he's no pro. You have your pcl too so that'll be more intailed. You'll be in pain for a bit but do as your told & you'll be fine. The healing takes a lot of time due to the nature of the injury.		\|< << >> >\|

Oh Secret I feel for him. The poor baby. I have tried not taking my naproxin. which is an anti inflamatory as well as a pain pill. I only take the oxycodone when I over do my p/t.
